Luke Mori: beyond the lake view

An acreage in Harrop and a waterfront home in Kaslo give this Nelson agent’s property presentations two very different stories to tell.

A lake view can carry a real estate advertisement. It cannot explain how a large acreage works, or how several households might share one waterfront address. Those are the more interesting stories in two property presentations on Nelson-based Fair Realty agent Luke Mori’s website.

Harrop: the land is part of the home

At 6890 Harrop-Procter Road, the description moves from walnut floors and lake-facing windows to a 51.8-acre property with fenced pastures, a pond and forest. The house is only one part of what is being presented. Its outdoor spaces and working landscape give a prospective buyer a different picture from an interior photograph alone.

Kaslo: one address, separate living spaces

The story at 464 Rainbow Drive is about arrangement. Mori’s presentation describes a main residence and three additional self-contained suites reserved for family and friends, with their own kitchens, laundry and covered decks. That detail changes the way a reader understands the home: the bedroom count does not explain the separation between households. The linked description makes that distinction visible in words.

What a seller can actually examine

These examples give substance to Mori’s published seller offering. He describes professional photography, indoor video and drone footage alongside room measurements and property details. The useful comparison for a seller is how those tools explain a particular home. A view, an outbuilding and a separate living space each call for a different kind of explanation.

The two presentations also show the difference between selling scenery and explaining a property. Harrop’s acreage requires attention to the land beyond the house. The Kaslo home requires a clear account of how the accommodation is divided. A prospective seller with either kind of property has concrete examples to examine when discussing a marketing brief with Mori.

That is the reason for this feature: a closer look at the way one agent presents two complicated properties in the Kootenays. The original conceptual artwork illustrates the region; the linked property presentations supply the real examples.
