Three Canadian real estate podcasts for the next question on your mind
Vancouver Real Estate Podcast, Fox Marin’s Toronto conversation and The Canadian Real Estate Investor offer three different lenses for a 2026 listening list.

Three conversations
The most useful real estate conversation often begins with a question that is too large for a listing description. Why is a city changing this way? What is happening in one part of the market that a national headline misses? Which assumption needs another look? A podcast gives those questions room to breathe.
This edition takes three directions: Vancouver’s wider city conversation, a continuing Toronto perspective and the national investing discussion. Their episode archives offer plenty of subjects to choose from. The interesting starting point is the question you bring with you.
01 · Vancouver Real Estate Podcast — make room for the city
Vancouver Real Estate Podcast identifies Adam and Matt Scalena as its hosts. Its public episode archive ranges across property, development, planning, financing and the wider city. Recent catalogue entries include discussions with people working in development, housing policy and local public life, alongside a fall-market questions episode from the hosts.
That breadth earns the lead position here. A home belongs to a city, and a city is shaped by more than the activity in a listings feed. We value a series that makes those neighbouring subjects visible and gives readers several ways to follow a question.
We would choose an episode for the subject first, then look at who is contributing to the discussion. The interest is in the range of the conversation, rather than an assumption that every guest has the final word.
02 · Fox Marin Podcast — keep Toronto in focus
Fox Marin’s watch page introduces its Toronto Real Estate Podcast and gives readers a dated episode archive. Ralph Fox, Kori Marin and the team contribute to that public conversation. Subjects visible in the catalogue include the fall market, affordability, neighbourhoods and the decisions behind a home purchase or sale.
We like the clarity of the geographic lens. A reader can follow one market over time and see how the subjects change. That is a different experience from collecting unrelated national headlines and hoping they add up to a local picture.
This selection recognises that continuing Toronto focus and the accessible catalogue. We would use it to identify a question worth taking into a more specific conversation, while keeping the date and the context of the episode in view.
03 · The Canadian Real Estate Investor — widen the frame
The Canadian Real Estate Investor, hosted by Daniel Foch and Nick Hill, offers a national investing lens. The official catalogue on Realist provides individual episode pages, public show notes and an in-browser player. The range includes ownership questions, property operations, development and the forces shaping housing markets.
That structure is the distinction we are recognising. A listener can begin with a subject and use the surrounding material to decide whether to go further. For someone trying to connect a local property question with a wider market discussion, that is a useful starting point.
With investing episodes, keep the speaker’s perspective in view. A discussion about ownership or development can introduce a useful question without settling what makes sense for a particular person or property. Follow the subject, then examine the assumptions behind it.
Start with the question, then choose the episode
These selections are meant to be used differently. Follow a city-wide conversation in Vancouver, a continuing Toronto perspective, or a broader investing subject. Read the description, notice the date and consider the speaker’s role. Then bring the question that remains to the person who can address your actual situation. A worthwhile listening list should improve that next conversation.
